As an Associate Lawyer at our firm, you will support and grow our practice by handling complex files with a particular focus on insurance defense and other civil litigation cases ranging from class actions to construction and Indigenous law. All of our lawyers are expected to work towards and maintain a full caseload of files and take ownership of their own examinations for discovery, applications, mediation and trials. Mentorship is provided through assisting senior counsel on larger or more complex files through informal daily meetings where senior counsel can offer insight and guidance as needed. On average, you will have the opportunity to be involved in 30-40 discoveries and 1-2 trials per year, providing excellent experience and career growth.
