Michael joined Kovacs & Norell in the summer of 2023. He currently practices in the area of insurance litigation and has experience in various areas of law, including employment, construction disputes, wills and estates, corporate, strata, administrative, real estate, and family law. Michael is a skilled litigator and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Michael obtained his law degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, and completed his articles in Edmonton, Alberta. During his time in law school, Michael was involved in many clubs, held an executive position with the school’s Society of Law Students, and won the law school’s ping pong championship in 2019.

Outside of work, Michael is dedicated to serving youth at his church and enjoys spending time with friends and playing all sorts of sports – his favourites are soccer, basketball, volleyball and of course ping pong!
