After several years of practicing in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, construction disputes and builders’ lien, Nassim joined Kovacs & Norell in March 2022 to focus on insurance defence litigation.

Nassim maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice with focus on insurance defence, construction disputes and builder’s lien. Her litigation and arbitration experience includes enforcing foreign arbitral awards in British Columbia, representing landlords in commercial rent arbitrations, representing financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings and obtaining remedies for creditors.

Nassim has represented clients in the BC Supreme Court, Provincial Court, and commercial arbitration since her call to the bar in 2017.

Prior to obtaining her license to practice law in British Columbia, Nassim practiced law in Iran. She is an active member of the legal community and enjoys writing educational articles on various legal topics, in Farsi, to make educational articles accessible to the Farsi-speaking community of British Columbia.
