Prior to joining Kovacs & Norell in 2022, Norm ran his own legal practice while also working in the academic field teaching and coordinating Justice Studies and Criminology programs.
Norm has a wide variety of litigation experience and has represented clients in every level of court in British Columbia including the B.C. Court of Appeal and Federal Court of Canada. Norm has handled everything from criminal matters to class proceedings.
At Kovacs & Norell, Norm’s primary practice is insurance defence.
When out of the office, Norm enjoys time with his family in his hometown of Vancouver. He is an enthusiastic student of local history and architecture.
