Peter has over 30 years experience as a civil litigator in the areas of occupier’s liability, products liability, professional negligence, insurance, personal injury, construction and commercial litigation.  He is Martindale-Hubbell/LexisNexis Peer Review Rated as “Distinguished – Very High Rating in Both Legal Ability & Ethical Standards”. Peter has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada publication for the third year in a row in the fields of Insurance Law and Corporate/Commercial Litigation.

Peter practices throughout western Canada representing a number of provincial, national and internationally based companies.  His clients include national and global leaders in the retail, transportation, manufacturing, engineering, construction, chemical, insurance and fire and security industries.  He has represented most of these companies for over 20 years.

Recently Peter added a mediation practice. He obtained his mediation training from Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation and Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute. He is also trained as an arbitrator from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is open to Mediation-Arbitrations.

Peter has a long history of volunteerism within and outside of the legal profession. He is a former President, Past President and Director of the Vancouver Bar Association.  He has provided many hours of work to a number of associations delivering services to the mentally challenged.

Outside of work and volunteering, Peter spends his time with his family.  They enjoy traveling and many outdoor activities.
